The sheer freedom and spirit of abstract art has long been a passion of mine; it was only natural  this passion served as my motivation to begin painting.

Wild abandon comes to mind, my choice to paint as I wish, no planning, no preconceived notion.   The chance to challenge colour combinations on a whim, to let my brush lead  the way to the finished piece.

Abstract art is innate: playful, spontaneous and spirited.

Other works came along to fine tune my skills, while exploring other venues for creativity.
